Post bank is a nationwide leading bank with networked branches all over Kenya. We seek to recruit a competence, proactive, self driven professional and high integrity to fill the following positions of a public relation officer- PB 6.2
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement all policies and strategies as required by the bank
- Be able to sustain mutual relationships between with the organization and the public at large
- Participate in organizing media functions
- Organize events and functions that the bank participates in that is press conferences, exhibitions, radio programmes and corporate social responsibility thus includes donations and sponsorship
- Draft speeches and monitor media coverage
- Write articles for the in- house magazine
- Carry out press review on daily basis on all the issues touching the bank
Education essentials
- Bachelor degree in communication or equivalent field
- Have at least two years experience in public relation or journalism
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent command of English and Kiswahili
- Age below 35 years
- Diploma in journalism, mass media, communications or public relations
- Excellent computer skills
