MSF Switzerland is a humanitarian medical organization that provides emergency medical aid to populations in need. as per now the organization operates in three programmes locations in Kenya, Somalia and Sudan currently we are looking for a pharmaceutical technologist to fill a vacant position available in the organization

Requirements
- Pharmaceutical degree or a Diploma from a reputable institution
- Fluent in English, Kiswahili and Somalia will be an asset
- Previous experience in a non governmental organization or MSF
- Ability to interact with diverse cultures
- Willing to learn new things, develop capacity and take responsibilities
- 2 years experience working in a busy hospital set up
Responsibilities
- Run the centre that supplies drugs and medical materials to the main hospitals and health post
- Report to the technical referent in case of any problems arising in the line of duty especially the loss or robbery or damage of medical equipments
- Monitor all prescriptions, drug storage, drug consumption and pharmacy registers
- Proved statistics on monthly basis, check the expiry of drugs, non moving drugs, material in the health posts and slow moving drugs
- Record all the exiting stock and ensure all physical stock equals to soft and hard copy
- Carry out staff training that’s formal and informal, this will be under the supervision of hierarchical referent
- Prepare international MSF and emergency orders in collaboration with expatriate Nurses and medical coordinators
