Information and Communication Manager (ICT)


Responsibilities
  • Manage Information and communication officers to support business and customer request
  • Develop Information and communication structure to deliver effective services within the hotel environment
  • Hold meetings with the management so as to advice them on matters involving technology in or to cut losses and maximize profits
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures for servers and business applications
  • Ensure all Microsoft applications are updated and function optimally
  • Be able to establish contracts with different vendors to support infrastructure and software all around the clock
  • Come up with a help desk system that will cater for all users request and resolve them in time and in a orderly manner
  •  Manage all Information and communication projects across the board to deliver organizational objectives and within budget
Academic requirements 

 
  • A degree in computer science, electrical engineering or any other relevant field
  • Three years experience working in a busy Information and communication sector at a similar capacity
  • Conversant with help desk automation tools
  • Experience from a hospitality sector too will be an added advantage
