Applicants are invited from qualified candidates for the above positions SSA consultancy in the child survival and development section of UNICEF.
Location: Nairobi
Main purpose of the post is to give technical support for UNICEF Kenya office in its efforts to support the government to strengthen the programming and implementation of major children activities.
Experience
- A master’s degree in public health medicine or pediatrics
- Must be able to speak in Kiswahili and experience in Kenya will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills and networking
- Must be able to develop strategy and policies to document and disseminate wide government, donor and key non governmental organization and community
- 8 years experience in Public Health or related fields focusing on child survivor
- Updated on current issues in child survivor in Kenya and the regions around
- Can undertake qualitative and qualitative data collection, review and analysis
Other requirements
- Excellent in English and Kiswahili required at least can speak any other United Nation asset language
- Competence computer skills
- Can work in an International and multi-cultural environment
- Able to solve problems, organize and prioritize work
- Analytical thinker and good communication skills
- Can prove or proven ability that can manage funds
- Can organize meetings, workshops, drafting skills, contract and letter writing
