The Kenya Tourist Development Board Corporation (KTDC) is the leading development financial Institution offering affordable financial facilities and advisory services to the tourism industry. The main mission of KTDC is to develop and diversity Kenya tourism industry by providing a range of advisory and financial services to investors in tourism related enterprises. The organization seeks to recruit a qualified person to work at the capacity of head of finance.
Responsibilities
Implement all system controls and deigns for monitoring and managing financial processes and procedures
Monitor all accounting and financial preparation and ensure compliance to standards and statutory regulations
Be the board adviser on matters of finance and guide the head of department in budget preparation
Report to the managing Director
In charge of finance function at KTDC and will be responsible for overseeing accounting and financial reporting at the corporation
Implement all financial policies, strategies and provide all guidance in the corporation’s financial capital
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditor general, the treasury and the market players to ensure
Compliance to the industry regulations and standards
Seven years of minimum experience in the relevant field at a senior level
A team player and a good leadership with track record of excellent integrity
Communication and interpersonal skills
A bachelor degree in accounting or commerce with an accounting option as well as an MBA
Certified public accountant (k) or an ACCA qualification
