Microbiology Technologist
Responsibility
- Prepare documents, maintain samples, process records and ensure dispatch of all results.
- Must maintain equipments in terms of calibration and alignment and will follow the required procedures and policies.
Academic essentials
- Higher National Diploma in Medical laboratory science or above
- 3 years experience in a totally busy medical laboratory
- Excellent knowledge in Laboratory procedures and operations
- Experience in cultural media preparations, quality control and micro organism
- Ability to write and review SOPs
- Registration with Kenya medical laboratory technicians and Technologies board is mandatory
- Ability to work in any other section of the laboratory if required
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and excellent computer skills
- Experience in ISO 15189 standards is desirable
