A position has arisen for the position of a director of an Islamic children Orphanage
Location: Mombasa
Responsibilities
• Carry out effective budgeting, accounting and identifying system to secure ready and adequate means of assessing the centre financial and asset positions • Make sure the centre runs smoothly under the board supervision
• Arrange regular meetings with the senior staff to handle arising problems
• Appraise senior staff performance annually and recommend to the board of governor’s salary increment, promotion or any other recommendation
• Arrange internal staff courses or external ones
• Maintain discipline in the centre
• Ensure all accounts are well audited
• Be in charge of all procurement requirements in the centre
• Act as the secretary to the board of governors

• The candidate must adhere to the Islamic code of conduct
Education essentials
• Must have a degree in sociology, psychology, education, business management, accounting or strategic planning, those with a masters degree will have a better chance
• Must have been in a similar position for 5 years
• Age between 35 to 50 years
