Apollo life Assurance limited seeks to recruit a competent business development manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure all company standards and practices are safe guarded
- Sell the company’s range of group life, credit life and pension products
- Prepare timely executive management reports
- Able to train, recruit and manage a team of direct sales agents
- Report on market trends and assist in development of new products as per the market findings
- Implement key account management plans and drive account retentions
- Work with business development team of the company’s related insurance company to develop strong business relations.
- Make sure all the services offered to the clients are of high standards as per the agreement
- Expand company’s market share going with the business trends available
- Build an excellent relationship between insurance brokers, corporate and independent agents
- Ensure implementation of all industrial regulations and any other legal requirements
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in corporate market especially in insurance
- Ability to network in a defined market, and to market company’s products
- High degree of professionalism and an excellent team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to clearly stipulate company’s past three years group life, credit life and pensions business products directly and through insurance brokers
- Graduate from a recognized University
- ACII
