Feed a child Kenya is recruiting the position of nutritionist in the HIV/AIDS program.

This job is based on a one year renewable contract. Based in Nairobi the incumbent will report to HIV/AIDS program manager.

Key duties

• Partner with other organization to be able to expand nutrition services to all the beneficiaries
• Attend and participate in all nutrition related coordination meetings on behalf of the program.
• Give practical input and guidance, technical input on all activities directed towards improving nutrition for PLWHA  
• Prepare and compile all organizational reports including those of shared partners
• Organize community training to bring out nutritional value, safe food preparation and prescription
•  Visit different houses as a follow up and nutrition interventions
•  Perform any other duty if required to

Responsibilities      

• Provide technical leadership, guidance and training to the MoH (ministry of health) and ministry of medical service
• Work with concern worldwide nutrition programme partners in Moyale in implementation of high impact nutrition interventions (HINI) projects and document the process.
• Carry out full time management of this programme, including supervision of the project officer and the logistics or finance officer
