A multinational pharmaceutical company through a local agent wishes to strengthen its marketing operations locally by filling the position of a new created medical representative. The ideal candidate must be self starter and has a drive to do this kind of job. The candidate must be prepared to work for long hours, visiting hospitals, doctors’ clinics, institutions and pharmacies in the are of jurisdiction with a view of retaining and developing the business operations in those regions by meeting all the set goals. Must be ready to travel and work in any part of Kenya though the position will be based in Nairobi.
Qualifications
- A degree or Diploma in pharmacy or pharmaceutical technology
- A degree or diploma in clinical medicine and surgery
- A degree in veterinary medicine
- A degree or diploma in nursing
- Relevant science degree course with pharmacology qualification that are recognized by the pharmacy and poisons board
- Kenyan candidates who have a minimum of three years working as medical representative will be shortlisted
- A clean driving license with at least 2 years driving experience (including long distance upcountry trips) is a must
