Specialist Job
The ministry of public health and sanitation through the division of tuberculosis, leprosy and lung disease whole mandate is to control and manage TB, leprosy and lung disease in the country has been implemented, the global fund grants for a number of years. The ministry seeks to recruit Information Technology Specialist
Duties and responsibilities
- Will report to the head of Division
- Will have overall responsibility of coordination and timely implementation of GF TB grant as the agreement
- Come up with tracking and reporting systems for programmatic, administrative and finance activities
- Work hand in hand with program staff to administer SR and CSOs contracts and monitor all the performances
- Be the overall coordinator of the GFATM work plan, including quarterly spending projects, programmatic budgeting, carry out monthly spend review and more so monitor payments to be inline with government and global fund regulations and policies
- Implement appropriate capacity building activities based on routine assessment in order to improve management
- Coordinate implementation of relevant GFTAM inspector general audits
- Comply with the reporting schedules and timelines for all reports and assist program staff where necessary for the development of accurate reports
- Work with all the partners in response to GFTAM requirements
- Perform any other activities as may be assigned by head of the Division
Qualifications
- Masters in public health, MBA or in any other health related field
- Have a five years experience in project management
- Experience working with the government and multiple stake holders
- Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication
- An asset will be to those with knowledge in GFTAM programs
- Background in TB control will be an add
- Can work with minimum supervision
- 30 years and above and be a Kenyan citizen
