Kentours Sacco society is a registered under the co-operative act and draws its membership from the hospitality industry. We seek to recruit an accountant who will also carry out the duties of a deputy manager. We invite qualified applicants for the above position:
Personal and competence skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good interpersonal, judgment and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Organizing, planning and coaching skills
- Excellent leadership skills, team player with a track record of integrity
- Age between 30 years and above
Qualifications and requirements
- Qualified certified public accountant (k)
- Diploma in co-operative management
- Exceptional computer skills of office software packages
- Excellent accounting skills, concepts and financial procedures of co-operative societies
- A degree in finance or accounting option will be a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position, two of which must have been in a co-operative environment
