Coffee Research Foundation is a state corporation whose mandate is to research, develop and disseminate appropriate technologies for enhanced productivity, quality and value additions. Currently the foundation seeks to recruit applicants from a qualified field for the following post:
Research Officer (pant pathology)
Ref: NO. RO/PP/4/2011
The candidate will be reporting to senior research officer
Responsibilities
- Involved in preparation and dissemination of technical reports and publications
- Develop, initiate and implement resource projects in a consultation with senior research officers
- Come up with projects proposals for sourcing funds
- Monitor the collection, processing, interpretation and reporting of field data and information
- Occasionally participate in the dissemination of research information and training activities
Qualifications
- A Bsc degree in agriculture or equivalent
- Relevant information communication and technology applications
- Proficient in both oral and written communication
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Relevant experience and having published in referred journal will be a plus
