Our client in the furniture business is seeking to recruit a
competent Project Manager
The said person should have:
- A degree in Commerce or related field.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience:
- Supervising Quality control and Packing
- Supervising manufacturing process and updating respective departments
- Must have at least 2 experience furniture industry
- Some accounting experience preferred
- Supervising stock controller
Additional Information:
- Must be able to maintain focus and constructive relationships when faced with difficult internal and external customers and under time constraints
- Must remain flexible and open to change due to changing internal processes, multiple, projects, and varying customer demands while preventing issues/distractions from interfering with work deadlines or deliverable
- Must have the ability to effectively prioritize and organize multiple activities, tasks, requests from multiple customers
- Ability to take action or complete tasks without prompting and effectively communicate the results or actions taken to internal or external customers in a timely manner

The Project Manager is an integral member of the Furniture
sales team from the sales prospecting phase and throughout the customer
engagement phase.
This position is responsible for working closely with sales
associates enabling the sales team to focus on direct customer interaction
and/or direct sales activities.
In addition, this position will be responsible for customer
account support, and interaction with various departments, vendors, and
furniture manufacturers.
