Nzoia sugar instruments engineer job
The candidate will ensure proper maintenance and control
systems. Also will take responsibilities of equipping the factory
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate with all the other departments to make sure all the instruments are fully functioning.
- Be at a position to carry out suitable modification so as to improve operations.
- Make sure there is proper operation and maintenance of all the instruments and control systems in the factory.
- Make sure all the weighing and measuring equipment are in order all the time
- Make sure all the calibrated equipment’s are done in line with the government regulations.
- Ensure there is installation and commissioning of the instrumentation equipment in liaison with the relevant authorities.
- Carry out all the measures of all the plant instruments and control systems.
- Make sure the entire safety shutdowns are functional at all the time.
Main qualifications
- Computer literate
- Bsc Electronic instrumentation or equivalent
- 5 years of working experience.
Knowledge skills
- Fully understanding of instrumentation and control engineering
- Experience in a sugar manufacturing company
- Be a registered Engineer with Engineers Registration Board ERB
- Age 30 years and above.
