Truck Drivers needed

It is a logistic company that is seeking to recruit 2o new experienced truck drivers. The drivers will be required to work and operate heavy vehicles whilst assuring safe transportation of all the available cargo to and from all the designated destinations.
Main role and responsibilities
  • Be able to pick all the allocated cargos at specific locations within the agree time.
  • Be a professional and operate all the company vehicles in a safe and professional manner, this will include tankers and flatbed trucks
  • Carry all the cargo approved by the company for carriage
  • Carry all the third party approved cargo by the company and make sure all the its delivered to any of the company premises and or the a third party approved by the company.
  • Make sure all the company assets are maintained in clean and roadworthy conditions at all times.
  • Complete all the necessary documentation accurately and in a neat manner so as to ensure all products, oils and or any other material are carried legally and within the terms and all the company policies.
Educational qualifications
  • To be successful the candidate needs to have at least 2 years experience in the shipping industry. With the ability to negotiate, secure and manage new business opportunities you must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must possess a ‘can do attitude’ and be able to hit the ground running.
  • Have the evidence of driver’s previous safe driving records from all the past employees and good conduct is sought.

  • A reputable shipping agency desires to recruit a resourceful and open minded Commercial Executive to be based in Mombasa.
  • The incumbent will be required to lead and develop business for the company
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director, the candidate will be responsible for day to day vessel management including all associated documentation for customs purposes and organizing any services required whilst vessels are in port.
  • Developing and building on existing and new commercial relationships with shipping lines and importers/exporters will be critical to the success of this role.
  • The candidate must be a holder of at least a diploma in maritime/freight management BUT experience is paramount. Bachelors degree and ICS qualifications will add value to your application.
