The kikuyu water company limited is incorporated under the
companies act (cap 486) and it is an agent appointed by Athi Water Service
board (AWSB) for the efficient and economical provision of water and sewerage
services within township and its environs
Currently the company is recruiting for the position of a
procurement officer. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the finance and
Admin Manager. He or she is expected to add value to the procurement section
and the main responsibilities will be planning and coordination of procurement
services. Will be there to enforce procurement policies and regulations and
take control of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in purchase and supply management from a well renowned institution
- Have the knowhow of the public procurement act and regulations
- Be a member of CIPS or KISM
- Familiarity with chain processes and procedures
- 3 years working experience with practical in procurement
- Be excellent in modern today computer application skills
- Have good public relationship and good interpersonal skills
