Bass Titanium is a subsidiary of Australian Company Base Resources Limited. Currently the company
is developing the Kwale Mineral sands project. The main activity which is
production is set to starr during the second half of 2013.

mining development in Kenya since 1911 and represents an exciting opportunity
for all the high performing individuals. Due to this the company is seeking to
employ a qualified person in the position below.
Purchasing officer REF: HRLOG2/13
- Will be reporting to the head of supply. Main role will be to carry out all the duties surrounding procurement for the main site.
- Duties and responsibilities
- Connect with the other stakeholders to make sure KPIs and other targets are fully met.
- Provide cost effective direct charge purchase service
- Able to carry out and enforce business control in purchasing
- Set and establish agreed service levels.
- Ensure with purchase work instructions and procedures.
Qualifications
- A diploma in procurement or in a related field.
- 6 years of working experience in a procurement role
- Have computer know how and skills in ERP systems.
- Skills in pronto ERP will be an added advantage.
- Great understanding of accounting in supply management
- Have warehouse skills and understanding
- Prompt problem solving and excellent planning skills
- Good in verbal, written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Have strong organizational awareness
